1. Contest Sponsor

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Prominent Homes Ltd. (“Prominent Homes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 1616 10 Ave SW Suite #200 Calgary, Alberta, T3C 0J5 Canada.

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Avid Ratings Canada Inc. or its affiliates (“Avid Ratings”). Avid Ratings conducts customer satisfaction surveys on our behalf as an independent research firm and has no role in the operation of this Contest.

2. No Additional Purchase Required

No additional purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. Entry is available at no cost to all eligible Prominent homeowners who receive an Avid Ratings survey from us. Making a purchase does not improve your chances of winning.

3. Contest Period

Entry Period: December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time

One prize is awarded per Entry Period. The draw for each Entry Period takes place on December 1 following the close of that Entry Period, or the next business day if December 1 falls on a weekend or statutory holiday in Alberta.

Only surveys completed within an Entry Period are eligible for that Entry Period’s draw. Entries do not carry forward.

We may discontinue the Contest at the end of any Entry Period. If we do, we will award the prize for any Entry Period already underway and will post notice on this page. No new Entry Period begins unless announced by us.

4. Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

• Be an individual who has purchased a home from Prominent Homes Ltd. and is named on the purchase agreement;
• Have reached the age of majority in your province of residence (18 years of age in Alberta) at the time of entry; and
• Be a resident of Alberta, Canada.

The following are not eligible to enter: employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Prominent Homes Ltd. and its affiliated and related companies; employees of Avid Ratings; employees of any trade partner, supplier, or agency involved in this Contest; and members of the immediate family of, or persons residing in the same household as, any of the foregoing. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, child, or sibling.

Corporate, numbered-company, and non-individual purchasers are not eligible.

5. How to Enter

1. Complete an Avid Ratings customer satisfaction survey sent to you by or on behalf of Prominent Homes during an Entry Period.
2. Submit the survey in full through the method provided by Avid Ratings before the close of that Entry Period.

Each fully completed survey earns one (1) entry into the draw for the Entry Period in which it was completed. Homeowners who receive surveys at more than one milestone may earn one entry per completed survey.

Partial, blank, duplicate, or late submissions are not eligible. Entries submitted by any automated, robotic, or third-party means are void.

6. Entry Is Not Conditional on Your Ratings

Your entry does not depend in any way on the scores, ratings, or comments you provide. Every completed survey receives the same number of entries and the same chance of winning, regardless of what you say. We encourage honest feedback, including criticism.

7. Prize

One (1) prize is available per Entry Period, consisting of:

• One (1) 65-inch television. The make, model, and specifications will be selected by Prominent Homes Ltd. at its sole discretion.
• Approximate retail value: CAD $600.00.

The prize must be accepted as awarded and has no cash value. It is not transferable, assignable, or convertible to cash, and may not be substituted at the winner’s request. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater approximate retail value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual value of the prize as awarded will not be compensated.

The prize will be delivered to the winner’s home. The winner is responsible for any costs not expressly described here, including installation, mounting, and any applicable taxes.

8. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.

9. Draw and Winner Selection

On the draw date for each Entry Period, one entry will be selected at random by Prominent Homes Ltd. from all eligible entries received during that Entry Period. The draw will be conducted at Prominent Homes’ head office under the supervision of the Operations Manager.

10. Skill-Testing Question

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by Prominent Homes Ltd. The question will involve a calculation with at least four operations.

If the selected entrant fails to answer the skill-testing question correctly, that entrant is disqualified and forfeits all rights to the prize, and another entry will be drawn at random. This process repeats until a prize is awarded or until, in our sole discretion, no further draws are conducted.

11. Notification and Claim

The selected entrant will be contacted using the contact information we have on file, by telephone and/or email, within five (5) business days of the draw.

The selected entrant must, within fourteen (14) calendar days of first contact: respond to our notification, correctly answer the skill-testing question, and sign and return the declaration and release described in Section 12.

If the selected entrant cannot be reached after three (3) reasonable attempts, does not respond within the claim period, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, that entrant forfeits all rights to the prize and another entry will be drawn.

12. Declaration and Release

Before the prize is awarded, the selected entrant must sign and return a declaration and release confirming that they: meet all eligibility requirements; have complied with these Official Rules; accept the prize as awarded; and release Prominent Homes Ltd., its affiliates, employees, agents, and Avid Ratings from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

13. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their first name, last initial, city of residence, and photograph or likeness by Prominent Homes Ltd. in connection with the Contest and in advertising and promotional materials, in any medium, without further notice or compensation.

A winner who does not wish to consent to publicity may notify us in writing when returning the declaration and release. Withholding publicity consent will not disqualify the winner or affect the award of the prize. Your survey responses will not be published alongside your name.

14. Personal Information and Privacy

To administer the Contest, Prominent Homes Ltd. will receive from Avid Ratings confirmation of which homeowners completed a survey within the Entry Period, for the purpose of building the entry list.

Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used only to administer the Contest, contact the selected entrant, award the prize, and meet our record-keeping obligations. It will not be sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

Personal information is handled in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act​.

15. General Conditions

By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Prominent Homes Ltd., which are final and binding in all respects.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify any individual we find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

We are not responsible for: entries or notifications that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or not received for any reason; technical failures of any kind, including failures of survey platforms, networks, servers, or software; or any injury or damage to any person or property related to participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize.

If the Contest cannot be conducted as planned due to fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest, or to award the prize from among eligible entries received to that point, subject to any required approvals.

We reserve the right to amend these Official Rules at any time. The current version will be posted at https://www.prominenthomes.ca/avid-survey-contest/, and the version in effect at the close of an Entry Period governs that Entry Period.

If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

16. Governing Law

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, and is void where prohibited by law.
