First & Second Year Warranty Extended by 60 Days
The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) is here to help homeowners feel safe, happy, and secure in buying and owning a new home. The ANHWP, through their insurer, the New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC), and in partnership with Prominent Homes, has extended the expiry of your first- and second-year warranty by 60 days each. You can rest easy knowing that your home is protected amidst the stresses and service disruptions caused by COVID-19. ANHWP partners with only the best builders in Alberta, and Prominent Homes is no exception.
What does this mean for me?
As a new homeowner, you now have an additional 60 days of protection for your first year (materials & labour) and second-year (delivery and distribution systems) warranty coverages.

Who is eligible?
The 60 days of extended coverage is available for policies active between March 15 and June 30, 2020.

A new home warranty is an insurance protection product that protects your home from the material, labour and structural defects that might arise after the commencement of the warranty. The warranty stays with the home, whether you’re the original owner or subsequent buyer and lasts for ten years.
